In this, Pankaj Mishra and others have been made accused.

The ED has registered a case against Pankaj Mishra in the money laundering case, an FIR was registered against him in the year 2020 at Barharwa police station in Sahibganj district. Accordingly, he has been made an accused. The ED has also recorded the statement of Shambhu Nand Kumar in this case. Shambhu has named the state cabinet minister Alamgir Alam in his statement to the ED.

Shambhu's mobile seized, forensic investigation will be done:

The ED has also confiscated Shambhu's mobile phone on which he was asked to walk out of the tender process. Shambhu's phone will be sent by ED to a forensic lab for examination. Shambhu has handed over some CDs to ED along with recording his statement. It is said that this CD contains data related to CCTV footage from 19 to 22 June 2020.

ED took over Barharwa case:

A case was registered in the tender dispute of June 2020 in Barharwa of Sahibganj district. Which ED has taken over. This case of Barharwa was registered by Shambhu Nandan Kumar alias Shambhu Bhagat. In the case of tender dispute, he had lodged an FIR in Barharwa police station for assault on the behest of ministers Alamgir Alam and Pankaj Mishra. But both the accused were given clean chit by Sahibganj police.

The company of the minister's brother was involved in the tender:

Shambhu Nandan told ED that the company of Minister Alamgir Alam's brother was involved in the tender for collection of vehicle entry fee in Nagar Panchayat Barharwa. The said company raised a dummy company and got it bid up to five crore rupees. After not depositing the money, Alamgir Alam's company took the contract for the second bid of 1.46 crores. Shambhu also told that he was aware of this, so he took this contract for 1.80 crores. On 22 April, Shambhu had given information about the whole matter by applying in the ED and told that some suspicious people are following him.

Here, ED interrogates Prem Prakash's wife

Ranchi. The ED also questioned Prem Prakash and his wife on Saturday in connection with the money laundering case. To avoid the media persons, both Prem Prakash and his wife reached the ED office in different cars. Prem Prakash informed the ED officials about the liquor merchants and their business relations with them. However, he kept evasive in giving information about the economic benefits of this business. At the same time, Prem Prakash's wife asked for information about Prem Prakash's work and people related to him. He answered many questions in no way.

Parliamentary Affairs and Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam said that I have nothing to say now. We do not have any information about ED taking over the case. Till now we have not received any notice. If the notice will come, then the answer will be given.
