The article discusses the current weather conditions in Chhattisgarh, highlighting a reduced risk of heatwaves in April due to frequent weather changes.

In Chhattisgarh, the anticipated heatwave in April seems less likely this year, owing to frequent weather fluctuations. Despite the rising temperatures in Raipur, heavy humidity has made the weather uncomfortable. Typically, heatwave conditions start to emerge in the state during the second half of April. However, this year, there have been two weather changes in the first half, leading to a significant drop in temperatures.

Meteorologist HP Chandra forecasts minimal change in maximum temperatures across the state in the next three days. The highest recorded maximum temperature in Dongargarh was 44.3 degrees, while the lowest was 19.7 degrees in Narayanpur. There's a chance of light rain at a few locations, along with the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning. Thunderstorm activity is expected to intensify from April 20 onwards.

Several districts are experiencing temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. Bijapur recorded 42.5 degrees, Rajnandgaon 42 degrees, and Dantewada 41.9 degrees, among others. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures vary across districts, with Koriya at 21.4 degrees Celsius and Narayanpur at 20.4 degrees Celsius.

The fluctuating weather patterns offer some relief from the anticipated heatwave, but residents remain cautious as thunderstorm activity may increase in the coming days.
