In the Lavepora area of ​​Srinagar, militants opened fire on CRPF personnel patrolling the road on Thursday evening. Due to this, a CRPF jawan was killed on the spot itself while three other three injured were admitted to the hospital. The condition of one of them was critical. The soldier, who was seriously injured during the treatment, was also martyred. The two CRPF jawans who were martyred in the attack have been identified as Sub Inspector Mangaram Dev Brama and Constable Driver Ashok Kumar resident Pinjore Chandigarh. The injured have been identified as constables Nazim Ali and Jagannath Rai.

Immediately after this terrorist attack, security forces have laid siege to the entire area. Every vehicle is being searched. The terrorists managed to flee the scene soon after the incident. The security forces deployed in different places have been put on alert. CRPF personnel seriously injured in the attack have been taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. The terrorist organization TRF has claimed responsibility for this attack on the CRPF patrol.

According to the information, as usual days on Thursday evening, CRPF 73rd Battalion personnel were patrolling the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway when suddenly terrorists attacked the CRPF jawans. The three injured CRPF personnel were admitted to the 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar for treatment. One of these seriously injured soldiers was martyred during treatment.
