New Delhi: In five states of the country, daily cases of corona have registered an increase in the last 24 hours. These include Maharashtra, Karnataka, Punjab, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat. In the last 59 hours, 59,118 new cases have been registered in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of 35,952 new cases. After this, 2,661 cases have been registered in Punjab and 2,523 in Karnataka. A maximum number of 111 people in Maharashtra have died from Corona. At the same time, this figure is 43 in Punjab.

In 14 states and union territories of the country, there is no information of the death of any person from corona in the last 24 hours. These states and union territories include Rajasthan, Jammu, and Kashmir (Union Territory), Jharkhand, Odisha, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, Sikkim, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Ladakh (Union Territory), Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands, and Arunachal Pradesh are included.
The central government sent two high-powered teams to Chhattisgarh and Chandigarh
The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry have sent two high-powered multi-purpose parties after receiving reports of an increase in the number of corona cases from Chhattisgarh and Chandigarh. These parties will work closely with the State and Union Territory Governments and find out the reasons for the rise in Corona cases. Also, I will recommend mandatory measures for corona control and prevention.
The vaccine is given to more than 5.5 crore people so far
According to the Health Ministry, Corona in India has been vaccinated to 5,55,04,440 people till 7 am Friday. Of these, 80,34,547 health workers have been given the first dose, 51,04,398 health workers have been given the second dose, 85,99,981 frontline workers have been given the first dose and 33,98,570 frontline workers have been given the second dose. At the same time, the first dose has been given to 55,99,772 beneficiaries, who are more than 45 years of age and are suffering from some disease. Whereas, more than 2,47,67,172 beneficiaries above 60 years of age have been given the corona vaccine.
