Public festivals have been banned during Holi in Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chandigarh. Ban on celebrating Holi in public places in Delhi
Corona cases are also increasing in Delhi. In such a situation, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will not attend any Holi ceremony in public. He tweeted on Sunday that Corona cases have increased in the last few days. In view of this, I am not attending Holi programs being organized in public this time. Appeal to all of you to celebrate Holi at home only with the family and avoid crowds and follow the rules of Corona Prevention. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has prohibited celebrating Holi at public places in the city. Action is being taken against those who violate the rules. Explain that in view of the increasing corona cases in Delhi, now the maximum number of people attending the wedding ceremony has been reduced to 100. Also, no more than 50 people can gather in a funeral. This order will remain in force till 30 April.
Ban on political gatherings with Holi celebrations in Maharashtra, lockdown preparations
The cases of corona virus infection in Maharashtra are seen most in the country. More than 30 thousand corona infections are coming out every day. In such a situation, the state government has imposed a complete ban on all ceremonies including Holi. Night curfew has been imposed in the state. All restaurants, malls, and parks will be closed from 8 pm to 7 am. The administration has strictly forbidden public celebrations on Holi. The Mayor of Mumbai has appealed to the people to celebrate Holi by staying at home.
Shivraj said - If there is an emergency, then the ways of celebrating the festival will have to change.

In these states too strict on Holi
In view of the increasing cases of coronation in Haryana, the public festival is banned due to the festival of Holi. State Health Minister Anil Vij said in a tweet that the government has restrictions on public celebrations of Holi. Everybody follows it. No activity and organizing are allowed in Bihar, gathering in public places on Holi day. In view of the increasing pace of Corona in Gujarat, public celebrations have been banned during Holi. At the same time, in view of the increasing cases of Corona, the Chandigarh administration has canceled the Holi Milan celebrations. Also, Holi programs are banned in hotels, restaurants, or clubs.
