The process of death due to poisonous liquor has not stopped in Bihar. Now a big incident has happened in Nawada district. It is being claimed that poisonous liquor has killed six people here. Since last night, these incidents have taken place in Gondpur and Bought Bigha villages. Many sick people are being treated in different hospitals. According to the family, Ramdev Yadav of Gondpur, Ajay Yadav, Dinesh alias Shakti of Shakti Bigha, Shailendra alias Shalo Yadav, Loha Singh Thathera, Prabhakar Gupta, and Gopal Kumar of Siswa have died due to drinking poisonous liquor.

Wife said - death due to drinking alcohol

All the deceased are residents of Bhaduni Panchayat of Nagar police station area. Among the dead, Priyanka and sister Rekha, wife of Dinesh alias Shakti of Khachi Bigha, have spoken of death by drinking alcohol. Priyanka told that the husband was not ill. He drank alcohol. This has led to death. Although the DM and SP of the district first expressed ignorance about the incident, then said that an inquiry would be conducted.

RJD leader claims: 15 deaths so far

Meanwhile, Prince Tamanna, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) district vice-president and husband of Bhadauni panchayat Abda Azmi, said that eight of them were bought in Beegha and seven in Gondapur due to poisonous liquor. They have demanded a compensation of Rs 20 lakh each to the relatives of the deceased. It is said that the dead bodies have also been cremated. In such a situation, there may be trouble in investigating the matter before the police.

One's eye was lost

On receiving the information about the incident, SDO Umesh Kumar Bharti and Product Superintendent Anil Kumar Azad reached here and investigated. Meanwhile, it came to light that the eyesight of Chamari Chaudhary of Purchasing Bigha has gone due to drinking of alcohol. His daughter said that this happened because of drinking alcohol.
