During the election campaign in Kerala, a tweet led to Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra being trolled. There were various types of comments about it on social media. He tweeted and wrote that 'We are proud that 50 percent of our candidates in Kerala are between 20 and 40 years of age. Together with the knowledge and experience of our senior leadership, they make a tremendous strength. I hope that he will be given an opportunity to serve the people of Kerala so that the vision of the UDF can be realized. ' The reality is that the minimum age to become an MLA is 25 years. MLA is trending on Twitter after the tweet.

BJP MP from Ladakh Jamyang Sering Namgyal tweeted that the minimum age to contest elections in India is 25. Now, what will happen if your candidates are less than 25 years to 20 years? If you do not know the basics of active politics and election rules, then keeping quiet is a good option.  

In Delhi, BJP leader Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga tweeted that the minimum age for the MLA election is 25. I thought you are intelligent, but you are also Rahul Gandhi version 2. 

Siddharth Patel tweeted that it is ironic that even Priyanka Gandhi does not know that the minimum age of MLA is 25. 

At an election rally in Thrissur, Kerala, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi said that the Congress party is not a cadre-based party like the CPM. Congress is a people's party. Congress politics is for the people, it is for the people to unite. We do not do partition politics like the BJP.
