The release of his film Suryavanshi has been postponed once again after Akshay Kumar was hospitalized with the Covid-19 virus. The film was scheduled to hit theaters on April 30. However, the film has been postponed indefinitely.
Akshay Kumar's health is believed to be behind the postponement of Suryavanshi's release and recently the lockdown announcement by the state government in Maharashtra. Cinemas across the state, including Mumbai, have been closed for a month. Cases of coronavirus are increasing in many states of the country, which are important for Hindi films, which is going to have an impact on the number of viewers.

Yash Raj Banner's film Bunty Aur Babli 2 was scheduled to come on 23 April, which has been postponed. Now AR Rahman's home production 99 Songs on 16 April and Kangana Ranaut's film Thalaivi on 23 April have survived. Thalaivi is also being released in Tamil and Telugu languages along with Hindi. According to the information so far, Thalaivi is coming on its due date.
