Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who came to campaign in support of the Trinamool Congress candidates in the Alipurduar district, accused the BJP of misleading people. She said that the BJP people only lie when the Prime Minister and the Home Minister lie, what will be the impact on the common people? . Mamta said that before the Lok Sabha elections, the Union ministers had come here and promised to open seven tea gardens, but all forgot only after the election was over. The Trinamool government has opened five gardens and will try to open more gardens in the coming days.
On Tuesday, during the gathering at the Nimti Maidan in Kalchini, Mamta lashed out at the Election Commission and the central forces. He said that BJP goons are attacking the Trinamool candidates and their supporters with the help of the Central Corps. An attempt is being made to kill him. But the Election Commission remains a mute spectator. Mamta questioned the Election Commission as to why seven to eight murders took place in 3 phases despite having such a strict central corps. BJP people are trying to create panic by outsiders entering the state. The people of Trinamool are not being allowed to reach the booth. During the meeting, Mamta expressed grief over the Naxalite attack in Chhattisgarh and said that 21 soldiers have been martyred in the country. But the entire cabinet of the central government is busy campaigning in Bengal. The central government has nothing to do with the soldiers and common people of our country. Their aim is to gain power only and only.
On the other hand, in today's meeting, the Chief Minister while describing his development works said that his government has done many development works in Alipurduar district in the last 10 years. This includes several public welfare schemes including making Alipurduar the most prominent district, setting up of Duwar's girls, preparing to build a university, opening three colleges, a plan to provide three lakh houses for tea workers. He said that the salary of tea workers in the Trinamool government has also increased significantly. All types of facilities ranging from food grains and 15 hundred rupees are being given to the workers of the closed tea garden. If the government is formed for the third time, the remaining work will also be completed.
