Bhilai Corporation has taken initiative to ensure that no poor go hungry in the week-long lockdown. From Wednesday, food packets have been made for the poor living at the bus stand, railway station, and other places, which have started to be distributed at the zone level from Wednesday. Please tell that during the last lockdown, the biggest problem was the food of the poor people.
For this not to happen this time, those places have been marked at the zone level, where the poor people who earn their daily living live. Such people have been identified since Tuesday. Many poor families live by camping at Bhilai Nagar Railway Station, Power House Railway Station, Power House Bus Stand, under Power House Overbridge, and other public places. Now every day these poor families will be served lunch and dinner.
Bhilai Municipal Corporation Public Relations Officer PC Sarva said that all four zones were in demand from Nehru Nagar, Vaishali Nagar, Mother Teresa Nagar, and Shivaji Nagar Khursipar. On the basis of demand, a food packet was prepared at Bhilai Corporation main on Wednesday. The packet was dispatched at 12 noon according to the demand in all the zones. Packet distribution also started.
PC Sarva, PRO of Municipal Corporation Bhilai, said that demand was coming from all the zones. Based on this, on Wednesday, on the instructions of Commissioner Rituraj Raghuvanshi, a packet of food has been sent to the poor for distribution.
