According to the Mumbai Police, they have also received some complaints in this regard, which are being investigated.
Mumbai Police is also appealing to people through its Twitter handle that people should not pay attention to rumors and be cautious. For those who are doing such activities, Mumbai Police has started keeping a strict vigil on them and soon strict action will be taken against such people. Mumbai Police spokesman DCP Chaitanya S said that some anti-social elements are spreading such rumors through social media, against whom strict action will be taken. He appealed to the people that people should not pay heed to these rumors and be cautious.
