In the Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, a truck full of devotees went unbalanced on Saturday. The accident killed 11 people, while a total of 43 people were injured. The truck driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident. All the occupants of the truck were going from Pinahat to Agra to visit the Lakhna Devi temple.
The Etawah CMO has confirmed the deaths of 11 people. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital. SSP of Etawah Dr Brajesh Kumar Singh said that the truck fell into a ditch about 25 feet deep on the road. The police pulled the rope and pulled the people out of the ditch.

The names of the dead are Banwari Singh, Mahesh Singh, Lalu Singh, Rajesh Singh, Rajendra, Gulab Singh, Manoj, Kishan Baijnath Singh, Hakim Singh, Guddu, and Ramdas Singh.

Meanwhile, the truck uncontrolled near the village of Kassaua on the Agra-Chakranagar road and fell into a 25 feet deep moat on the roadside.
On the information of the passers, Badhpura police sent out the people falling in the ditch and sent them to the district hospital. Doctors declared 11 dead in the hospital. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the injured and the relatives of the deceased started reaching the district hospital. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh to the dependents of those killed in the accident.
