Seeing the shortage of Remedesivir drug in Maharashtra, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur has called up the head of pharmaceutical company Sun Pharma to arrange for ten thousand injections of Remedesivir for the city dwellers. Remadecivir injection is used in the treatment of serious patients of the global pandemic Covid-19.

Gadkari requested to wear the mask

According to Gadkari's office, the Union Minister has telephoned with managing director of Sun Pharma Dilip Sanghvi to meet the demand for injections. Also appealed to them to arrange these injections. The head of the pharma company has assured Gadkari to provide five thousand injections immediately and five thousand injections in the next two-three days on Saturday. Gadkari has asked the people of Nagpur to follow all protocols of rescue from Kovid-19, including wearing masks. 

Three arrested in Pune and Thane

The Maharashtra government has decided to set up a control room at the district level for an uninterrupted supply of Remedisvir injections, so as to prevent black market and hoarding. In this sequence, the police in Pune arrested a person for illegally selling this injection. At the same time, two people have been arrested in Thane for selling this injection expensive. 

Supply of 2.8 Lakh Remedisvir

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that the state government has supplied 2.8 lakh injections in the last ten days. Between April 1 and 10, 1.80 lakh injections have been given to people in private sector pharma. Fifty thousand injections 25-25 thousand injections have been supplied for the three cities of Ahmedabad and Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara.
