Congress President Sonia Gandhi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and appealed that Rs 6000 per month be given to the poor affected by the Corona epidemic. In addition to this, arrangements should be made for the people returning from the big cities.
Along with this, he urged the Prime Minister that vaccination should be expanded according to the need rather than age. In a letter to PM Modi, he said that vaccines should be made available according to the situation of infection in the states and vaccines of other companies should be allowed to be used in emergencies.
Sonia Gandhi has written in her letter that she has discussed the situation of Corona with the Chief Ministers of the states ruled by the Congress. States have only three to five days of vaccine stock left. Therefore, the vaccine will have to be supplied immediately. Along with this, the Congress President also wrote that the infrastructure related to Corona should be made GST-free.
New cases of corona are increasing rapidly in the country
Explain that the Corona epidemic is at its peak in the country. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry at 8 am on Tuesday, 1,68,912 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours, more than 75 thousand patients were cured and 904 people died. Together, the total number of infected persons has exceeded one crore 35 lakh 27 thousand, out of which one crore 21 lakh 56 thousand patients have been cured and 1,70,179 patients have lost their lives. Active cases have been increasing for 33 consecutive days. On the 33rd day, more than 92 thousand active cases increased and their number increased to 12 lakhs.
