In view of the worsening situation due to corona infection in the capital, the Delhi government has directed 115 private hospitals to reserve more beds for corona patients. Out of these, 14 large private hospitals have been declared completely Covid Hospitals by the government. In these hospitals, only Corona infected patients will be treated. At the same time, patients suffering from other diseases will no longer be able to be treated in these hospitals. Along with this, the government has also directed 101 private hospitals to start treatment of corona and reserve 60 percent of their total capacity for forward bed corona patients.

At the same time, 19 private hospitals have been asked to reserve 80 percent and 82 percent of ICU beds for corona patients. It is worth mentioning that in this order, the government had instructed these hospitals to reserve 50 percent of their beds for Corona patients. But due to the filling of beds in these hospitals, the government has again issued an order to increase the number of reserved beds.
