Several states have postponed board examinations amid growing Corona infection in the country. Board examinations have now been postponed in several states including UP, Haryana, Maharashtra, and CBSE. At the same time, board examinations will start in Goa on April 24. State Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that in view of increasing cases of Covid-19, the state government has not yet considered canceling the 10th-12th board examinations. UP board examinations of 10th and 12th postponed till further order in UP
In the wake of the havoc of the Corona infection in UP, the Yogi government has taken a big decision. UP board examinations of 10th and 12th have been postponed till further orders in UP. The new dates will now be considered in May. Also, schools from 1st to 12th will be closed till 15th May. Along with this, university examinations have also been postponed to 15 May. Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma gave this information at the convocation ceremony of Ruhelkhand University. He informed that this decision has been taken in the meeting chaired by the Chief Minister. Earlier, Dinesh Sharma did not say that the dates of board examinations would be decided soon. Let us know that the high school and intermediate examinations were going to start simultaneously from May 8. The 10th examination was to end on May 25 after completion in 12 working days while the 12th examinations were to be completed on May 28 after 15 days. Now the next order will be taken after reviewing the conditions.
Haryana also canceled the 10th board examinations, 12th exam postponed
On the other hand, Haryana Board has also canceled the examinations of the 10th, while the 12th examinations will be decided later. After the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board canceled the 10th examinations, the Haryana government has also canceled the Haryana School Education Board Bhiwani C 10th examinations. Education Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar held a meeting with Chief Minister Manohar Lal after a meeting with the Education Department officials, after which the decision to cancel the 10th examinations was taken. The examinations of 12th have also been postponed till further orders. A final decision can be taken on June 1.
Gujarat board 10th and 12th examinations postponed
The Gujarat government on Thursday postponed the examination of 10th and 12th board till May 15 in view of the situation in the state. Mass promotion was also decided to children of classes one to nine, class 11. In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, it has been decided to postpone the examinations of Gujarat Education Board's Class 10 and Class 12 examinations from May 10. On May 15, higher officials of the Health Department and Education Department will review the status of corona infection in the state and only after that the date of examinations will be determined. The state government has announced to give mass promotion to students of class one to class nine and students of class 11.
Telangana class 10th exam canceled
The Telangana government has canceled the examination of the 10th SSC Board due to the fast growing corona infection. Students will be passed on the basis of the criteria set by the board. The statement issued by the government said that students who are dissatisfied with the results of the board, they can also take the exam when the conditions are favorable.
CBSE examinations also postponed
Earlier on Wednesday, it was decided to cancel the CBSE 10th examinations while the 12th examinations have been postponed till June until further orders. Students, parents and teachers from across the country, as well as the Chief Ministers of several states, several leaders and public representatives, demanded the 10th and 12th board examinations of the CBSE board to be postponed or canceled.
10th and 12th board exam postponed in Maharashtra
In view of the increasing cases of corona in Maharashtra, the 10th and 12th board exams have been postponed. Maharashtra Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad said that in view of the current coronavirus situation in Maharashtra, we have postponed the board exams of class 10th and 12th. He said that the Class 12th exams would be conducted by the end of May. Class 10 exams will be held in June. Accordingly, new dates will be announced.
