Corona infection is uncontrollable in many states of the country. The situation is terrible due to the epidemic. To prevent the spread of infection, lockdown, curfew, and section 144 have been imposed on Sunday in several states including UP, Delhi, Maharashtra, MP. During this period, all markets and offices except emergency services will remain closed. Only sanitary and emergency services will be operated. Medical and health-related services and supplies of essential commodities will continue during the weekly shutdown.
Fines up to 10 thousand for not wearing masks in UP
The UP government said that for the first time a fine of one thousand will be charged for not wearing a mask. The CM directed that a fine of up to Rs 10,000 can be charged if caught without a mask again.
Know - What will be closed in UP?
CM Yogi has given instructions to conduct special campaign of sanitization, cleanliness and fogging. He said that markets, haats, commercial establishments, offices in urban and rural areas would be closed every Sunday till May 15, 2021 for smooth running of this campaign. As well as malls, gyms, spas and auditoriums will also be closed.
What will be open in UP?
During the weekly bandh, necessary services related to medical and health and supply of essential items will continue unchanged. The work of dispatch of polling parties for polling of three-tier panchayat general election-2021 will continue to be conducted as per the scheduled time table. Grocery shops will also be open. Restaurants will be open, but only home delivery will be allowed.
Weekend Curfew in Delhi
Weekend curfew has started from today in Delhi amid increasing cases of corona. However, it has started from 10 pm on Friday night and will run till 5.00 am on Monday morning. During this period, restrictions will remain in force on Delhiites. The malls, gyms, spawns, auditoriums in Delhi are completely closed. While cinema halls will be open with 30 per cent capacity. Only one weekly market will be opened in each zone. There is no facilities for eating and drinking in the restaurant. Home delivery is allowed instead. All essential services, including marriage, are excluded from the purview of the weekend curfew. The curfew pass has been issued by the government for the people connected with these services.
What will remain between the restrictions?
1-cinema, theater, multiplex will be opened with 30 percent seating capacity.
In the 2-municipal zone, only one weekly market per day will be allowed to be set up with strict SOP compliance. The zonal deputy commissioner of the municipal body will decide where the market will be.
3- Government officials associated with health, disaster control, police, civil defense, fire service, district administration, accounts, electricity department, water and sanitation, air, rail and bus will be exempt.
4-Delhi government officials, autonomous bodies, corporations, judicial officers and all court employees will be exempt.
5 - All private medical staff, doctors, nursing staff, paramedical staff, diagnostic centers, clinics, etc. allowed.
6 - People associated with the diplomatic office of other countries will get exemption from these restrictions on showing valid icards.
Exemptions will also be available for pregnant women and patients
7- There will be an exemption for those involved in electronic and print media.
8- People going to or coming from the airport, railway station, bus station will get a discount on showing valid tickets.
There will be no restriction on movement of essential and non-essential goods coming from other states. No e-pass will be required for these.

Bank, Insurance Office, ATM
2-Internet service, IT broadcasting and cable connected people

5-power generation, transmission and distribution unit
6-cold storage and warehouse service
7-private security service and manufacturing unit of all essential goods
Weekly lockdown in 10 districts of Odisha
The Odisha government has implemented weekend lockdown in 10 districts with the aim of controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and night curfew has also been imposed in all urban areas. Corona cases are increasing rapidly across the country, including Odisha. The demand for vaccine is constantly increasing so that the spread of this deadly virus infection can be controlled. In Odisha, 22,822 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in the last 17 days.
The districts where the state government has announced weekend lockdown include Sundargarh, Jarasuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Navpada, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Nabarangpur, Koraput and Malkangiri. The state government has classified four districts - Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Navpada and Khurda - as 'Red Zone'. Special Relief Commissioner PK Jena said that no restriction has been imposed on industries and they will be able to continue their work with safety measures.
Curfew will remain in Uttarakhand across the state today
In view of the increasing cases of corona infection, the state government has announced a weekly curfew in the entire state. There will be a weekly curfew on Saturday and Sunday in the Municipal Corporation area of Dehradun. There will be a weekly curfew on Sunday in all other districts. At present, this arrangement has been done till April 30 only. In view of the increasing corona infection in the state, orders were issued on Saturday on behalf of the Chief Secretary Omprakash regarding the new guidelines. According to the order, from Saturday, the entire state will have an 8-hour night curfew from 9 am to 5 am.
Till now its time was only from 10:30 AM to 5 AM. At the same time, shops of essential commodities will be open on the weekly curfew day. At the same time, the traffic will be conditional and subject to permission. Whereas in the Municipal Corporation area, there is an exemption to keep the offices and institutions open for the necessary services in Saturday's weekly shutdown.
