Those selling vegetables, milk, groceries, and medicines are exempted. Therefore, the state government has decided to get them vaccinated first.
According to the government, people who sell fruits, vegetables, milk, medicines or groceries and whose age is 45 or above will be given the Corona vaccine on a priority basis, according to the government. From May 1, when the vaccination of people above 18 years of age will start, the government will give them the vaccine on a priority basis.
Order issued to collectors
The Secretary of the Medical and Health Department has issued this order to all the district collectors of the state. This includes vaccinating bank employees working in Corona-affected or hotspot areas, workers working in industries, fruit-vegetable dealers or shop-sellers, milk, medicines, newspaper distributors, and media workers. is directed.
Apart from this, the front line workers (police, revenue department, water, electricity workers) who have not been vaccinated so far have also been instructed to get the vaccine at the earliest, so that their duty when the areas affected by corona infection If they are engaged, then their life is not threatened.
So far, vaccination has once again gained momentum in the state with more than 1.13 crore doses. On Monday, 2.87 lakh people were vaccinated with Corona in the state. Since January 16, 1.13 crore people have been dosed. There are 49.03 lakh people, whose age is 60 or more. At the same time, there are 38.73 lakh people, whose age is between 45 and 59 years.
