Active cases have also crossed 25 lakh. Currently, there are no signs of relief from this critical situation.
A day in the country at 344,949 new cases
According to data received by the World Meter and Covid 19 India ORG till late last night , 3,44,949 new cases were detected in the last 24 hours, including 66,836 in Maharashtra, 36,605 in Uttar Pradesh and 28,447 in Kerala. During this period 2,620 people have also lost their lives and 2,20,382 people have also become infection free.For the first time, more than two lakh patients were cured in a day.
This is the first time that more than two lakh people have been cured in a day. With this, the number of total infected has exceeded one crore 66 lakh two thousand. Out of these, over one crore 38 lakh 63 thousand patients have been completely cured and 1,89,549 people have lost their lives. The number of active cases has increased to 25,43,914.
There were 3,32,730 new cases on Thursday.
A day earlier, 3,32,730 new cases were reported and 2,263 people died. At the same time, 3,15,802 new cases were found on Wednesday and 2,102 people died. At the same time, 2,020 people died on Tuesday. In this way, more than 9.92 lakh cases have increased on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday itself.
Record 17.40 lakh test on Thursday
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a record 17,40,550 samples were tested across the country on Thursday to detect corona infection. Together, more than 27 crore 44 lakh 45 thousand samples are being tested so far.
Record deaths in Maharashtra and Delhi
2,415 people died on Friday in the country. Maharashtra has the highest number of 773 and 348 deaths in Delhi. Apart from this, 219 in Chhattisgarh, 196 in Uttar Pradesh, 190 in Karnataka, 142 in Gujarat, 78 in Tamil Nadu, 75 in Punjab, 74 in Madhya Pradesh, 64 in Rajasthan, 63 in Jharkhand, 60 in Haryana, 59 in Bengal and Bihar. 54 people have lost their lives.
