Britain has sent the first consignment of life support to India which will reach New Delhi on Tuesday. This includes things like ventilators and oxygen concentrators. More consignments are being collected this week.
The European Union has also assured India of help. At the same time, Australia's Health Minister Greg Hunt said today that his country will send oxygen, ventilators and PPE kits to India. Saudi Arabia has sent 80 metric tons of liquid oxygen to India. At the same time, on Saturday, the Indian Air Force arrived in India with four cryogenic tanks from Singapore which will be used to transport Pranavayu (oxygen).
At the same time, France said that it would supply "adequate medical aid" to India to help the country deal with a huge wave of coronavirus infections.
