French automobile manufacturer Renault has introduced a new avatar of its popular MPV Tribar in the Indian market. Known as the cheapest MPV in the country, the starting price of the new model of this car has been fixed at Rs 5.30 lakh. In terms of looks and features, Reno has now been updated more than ever. Let's take a look at the changes made in the 2021 Renault Triber:
How much price increase in the new avatar: Reno Tribar has been introduced in 4 trims RXE, RXL, RTX, and RXZ. The price of its Raz Topping variant RXZ has been fixed at Rs 7.65 lakh. However, the point to note here is that the base variant of the Tribar RXE is offered only with a manual transmission, while the other three variants will be sold with both manual and automatic options. The company has not made any changes in the price with the introduction of the new model. That is, the prices are the same as the outgoing model.
List of changes: The company says that All-New Tribe has become attractive compared to the current model with a new look and features. It now includes steering wheel-mounted audio and phone controls, driver seat height adjustment, dual-tone exteriors in all color options, LED turn indicators on wing mirrors, and a new body-color Cedar Brown.
Single engine option with the highest boot space in the segment: The Reno Tribar being an MPV provides good seating space in all rows, with a boot space of 625 liters. Which is the highest in its segment in a five-seater configuration. The top-end variant of the Reno Tribar is equipped with four airbags, and the company uses a 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder unit with a single powertrain option. This engine is designed to generate 70 Bhp of power and 96 Nm of peak torque.
