Five people belonging to the same family were buried in the rubble of an old house in the small Gudri locality of Kotwali town. Police reached the spot and evacuated everyone, including Shubham (22), five people were killed. Police sent all the bodies for postmortem.
Ashutosh Ranjan, a resident of Chhoti Gudri, lived with his family on rent in the old house of son Shivprasad Gupta. On Tuesday night, everyone was sleeping in the room. On Wednesday morning, the roof collapsed at around three o'clock. In this, five people Umashankar son Bhagwati Prasad (50), Gudiya (48) wife Umashankar, Subham (22), Sourabh (18), and Sandhya (20) sons of Umashankar resident Chhoti Gudri were buried in the rubble.
In which five people including Shubham, Umashankar, Gudiya and Sandhya have died. His body has been removed. On the spot, Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Singh, UP Superintendent of Police, Sanjay Verma, District Magistrate Nagar Prabhat Rai In-Charge Fire Station, Kotwali City Police, after three hours, evacuated all the bodies.
