R. Sreelekha, who retired in December as the first woman Director General of Police (DGP) of Kerala in June last year, has accused her own police of being ignored. Questioning the entire police system of the state, it has been alleged that by not redressing the complaint made by them, it was deliberately hanged. He has put forward his complaint to the police through internet media. He has said that I am the former DGP of the state and the police are not taking cognizance of my own complaint.
Giving a detailed account of the incident that happened to her, she has said that she has been a victim of online company fraud. On April 6, he made an online booking for a Bluetooth earphone. On April 14, the company was told that their goods were being shipped. It was also received by our colleague at the gate after payment. Said that at that time I was resting after the operation. I could not find the time to open the packet. But later when I opened the packet, I was surprised. A broken earphone was found in it. When I complained to the employee of the company concerned, he refused to give me new earphones. He also refused to return the money. He said that you are free to complain to the police about this.
After this, I immediately wanted to call the museum police and give information about the case, but the police officer told me to call later, citing being busy. Later the police officer called me and got information about the case. I immediately emailed and sent my complaint, but the action has not been done till date. He said whether anyone would believe me that the police did not take action on my own complaint. Whereas, I have been the head of the state police.
