Several states including UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu have issued new guidelines for lockdown and night curfew for the safety of the people. Let us know which state is banned.
Now a three-day lockdown in UP
The weekend lockdown has been extended by a day, given the pace of corona infection in UP. Now the lockdown will be here from 8 pm on Friday night to 7 am on Tuesday. Earlier the lockdown was applicable on Saturday and Sunday whereas according to the new guidelines, now the lockdown will continue on Monday as well. During this period, only essential services such as medical shops, clinics, hospitals, milk and vegetable shops will be allowed. Apart from this, night curfew is also applicable in all districts of UP from 8 am to 7 am. Let me tell you that in UP, Corona's positivity rate has been around 30 percent. The Allahabad High Court had demanded a 14-day lockdown in major cities of the state.
Shops will be closed from 4 pm in Bihar
The Nitish government in Bihar has issued new guidelines on Wednesday amid the growing transition to Corona. According to this, there will be a night curfew from 6 in the evening to 6 in the morning. During this period, it has been decided to impose Section 144 in the entire state. With this, now only 50 people will be able to attend the wedding ceremony, while only 20 people will be able to attend the funeral.
According to the new guidelines, the shops will open only till 4 pm. Drug and milk shops will remain open. Construction work will continue in the industrial establishment. All activities related to e-commerce will continue. All establishments and activities related to the health sector will also continue. It is permissible to sell fruit and vegetables on the cart on a rotary basis. Agriculture and allied works will continue. It is permissible to take food home until 9 pm at restaurants and hotels or food shops.
Weekend curfew in Rajasthan from 6 pm to 5 am
Since last week in Rajasthan, once again the Gehlot government has announced the weekend curfew. Under this, a full weekend curfew will be in force from 6 pm Friday to 5 am Monday. The orders came into force from 5 am on 25 April. During this time the markets will be completely closed Saturday-Sunday. Many new restrictions have also been added to the new guidelines issued by the government. As per the order, all food shops and groceries, flour mill, cattle feed shops will open from 6 am to 11 am Monday to Friday. At the same time, shops of agricultural exchange vendors will open from 6 am to 11 am on Mondays and Thursdays. Dairy and milk shops can be opened daily from 6 am to 11 am and from 5 pm to 7 pm in the evening. While mandis, fruit-vegetables, flower garlands and vegetable and fruit carts will be open daily from 6 am to 11 pm.
Lockdown till May 3 in 5 cities including Bhopal
In Madhya Pradesh, the restrictions have been extended in Bhopal including Chhindwara, Ratlam, Sagar and Jabalpur. Restrictions like lockdown will continue in Bhopal till May 3. At the same time, in Chhindwara, Ratlam, Sagar and Jabalpur, this ban will remain till May 1. According to the guidelines, all government and private offices except mandatory services will be operated with 10 percent employees. The gathering of people for social, political, sports, entertainment, educational, cultural, public and religious events will be completely banned.
Full lockdown, night curfew on Sunday due to Covid-19 in Tamil Nadu
The Tamil Nadu government has increased the night curfew in the state due to the rapidly growing corona infection and has announced a full lockdown on Sunday, ie on 2 May. Let us know that there are more than 1,10,308 active patients in Tamil Nadu. The Tamil Nadu government extended the full lockdown on Sunday and the night curfew on all days until further orders. As per the forthcoming order of the Tamil Nadu government, all cinema halls, multiplexes, theaters, gyms, entertainment clubs, bars, auditoriums, meeting halls and other similar venues will remain closed until further orders.
Chennai Metro Rail will be allowed to operate ScaleTel service during the lockdown on Sunday. The night curfew will be implemented across the state till 10 pm and 4 pm till further orders. Private and public bus transport operations will not be allowed inside the state and from other states. Autos, taxis and private vehicles will be permitted only for medical emergencies and for rail, air passengers. Agitation will be allowed for essential services in the night curfew.
