However, these four people have been rescued by the local people from the debris. It is reported that debris has been filled in many houses and shops. There has been a huge loss to the villagers, farming and electricity and water system. It is being told that a bike got swept up in this debris. On the other hand, there are reports of heavy losses due to heavy rains and excess rainfall from Fatepur, Garrisari and Kotli, but the relief is that at present there is no information of loss of life.
Chief Minister gave instructions
Meanwhile, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat tweeted that after taking immediate notice of the news of cloudburst in Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts, information has been taken from the concerned district magistrates on phone. He has been directed to provide immediate relief and relief to the affected people immediately. CM Tirath Singh gave information in his second tweet that both the district magistrates have been told to keep a constant watch on the situation. Orders have been given to the Public Works Department, NH and BRO that the roads which have been closed, should be opened immediately so that the public does not face any problem.
Many houses damaged in Uttarkashi
Meanwhile, the news agency ANI shared some pictures on its Twitter handle, stating that several houses and roads were damaged due to cloudburst in Kumarada village of Chinyalisaur block in Uttarkashi. Local administration officials are on the spot.
