The second wave of Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the country. In the first wave of Corona virus, when migrant labor society, governance and administration were most disappointed, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood emerged as the messiah for them. From that day till now, Sood has been continuously helping the needy people. He first created the Sud Foundation and then launched an app for this.
Every day Sonu Sood's official Twitter account is awash with tweets asking for help. Every day they help a large number of people and many times they also reply to people on Twitter. On Monday, a person from Jhansi was in need of an emergency health support system, so Sonu Sood took the man to Hyderabad by airlift. Sood has also retweeted an image related to it.
Apart from this, he got many infected beds in the hospital. He then tweeted - My Country Needs Oxygen. Along with this, he has also made folded hands and tricolor. In another tweet after this, he wrote - 'Only and only oxygen'.
In an interview to journalist Barkha Dutt, he has said that the situation sometimes becomes very dangerous due to lack of oxygen. Sonu Sood became emotional while speaking in this interview. He said, 'I think how helpless they must be when someone is unable to provide oxygen and even beds for their loved ones.'
Sonu Sood launched a telegram app on Saturday 25 April, through which they will provide beds, medicines and oxygen in the hospital to the needy people across the country. On Saturday, he tweeted and appealed to the countrymen to join Sonu Sood Kovid Force. He wrote- 'Now the whole country will come together. Join me on Telegram channel and join hands on 'India Fights with Covid' .. will save the country. '
