In the domestic bullion market, both gold and silver precious metals recorded an increase on Tuesday. According to HDFC Securities, the price of gold rose by Rs 97 per 10 grams in the national capital on Tuesday. With this increase, the price of gold was Rs 46,758 per 10 grams. Significantly, in the previous session, gold had closed at 46,661 per 10 grams.
Along with gold, an increase in the spot price of silver was also recorded on Tuesday. Silver prices recorded a huge gain of Rs 1,282 per kg. With this increase, the price of silver has gone up to Rs 70,270 per kg. Significantly, silver had closed at Rs 68,988 per kg in the previous session.
Talking about the international market, on Tuesday, gold appeared to trade at a low of $ 1,788 an ounce. At the same time, the global price of silver appeared to trade steady at $ 26.90 an ounce.
Gold in the domestic futures market
On Tuesday evening, gold prices fell in the domestic futures market. Gold prices of futures on the MCX exchange on June 4, 2021, fell 0.51 percent, or Rs 243, on Tuesday evening, trading at Rs 47,076 per 10 grams. Apart from this, the gold price of futures on August 5, 2021 fell by 0.47 per cent or Rs 222 on Tuesday evening to trade at Rs 47,420 per ten grams.
Silver in the domestic futures market
The silver futures also fell in the domestic futures market on Tuesday evening. On Tuesday evening, July 5, 2021 futures silver price fell by 0.44 per cent or Rs 314 to trade at Rs 70,586 per kg on the MCX exchange.
