Due to increase in the number of Corona infected patients in the country and lockdown in states where trains are unable to get passengers. At the same time, on demand trains for passengers going from one state to another are also being operated by Railways.
It has been decided by the Railways to operate superfast special trains between Ajmer-Howrah-Ajmer and Barmer-Chennai Central. These trains will operate on 10, 11 and 12 May. These trains will be fully reserved.
Operation of Ajmer-Howrah-Ajmer Superfast Summer Special Railways
According to Lt Shashi Kiran, Deputy General Manager (General) / Chief Public Relations Officer, North Western Railway, train number 02983, Ajmer-Howrah Superfast Summer Special train will depart from Ajmer on May 10, 09.20 am on Monday and reach Howrah at 13.05 am the next day.
Similarly, train number 02984, Howrah-Ajmer Superfast Summer Special Rail service will leave Howrah on Tuesday, May 11 at 17.10 hrs and reach Ajmer at 21.40 hrs the next day.
This train route includes Jaipur, Bandikui, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Agrafort, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Prayagraj, P.P. Deendayal Upadhyay, Gaya, Koderma, Dhanbad, Asansol, Jn., Durgapur and Bardhaman Jn. Will halt at stations.
Barmer-Chennai Central Superfast Summer Special train is being operated
in addition to the Barmer-Chennai Central (one-way) Superfast Summer Special train is also being operated for the convenience of passengers.
Train No. 04807, Barmer-Chennai Central (One-way) Superfast Summer Special train will depart from Barmer at 11.50 am on Wednesday, 12 May and reach Chennai Central at 10.00 am on 14 May.
This train route includes Balotra, Samdari, Luni, Jodhpur, Merta, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Durgapura, Sawaimadhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Bhavani Mandi, Shamgarh, Nagda Jn., Ujjain, Bairachha, Sujalpur, Sehore, Bhopal, Habibganj, Itarsi, Betul, Pandurana, Nagpur Jn., Sevagram Jn., Chandrapur Maharashtra, Balharshah Jn., Sirpur Kagajnagar, Manchial, Warangal, Vijayawada Jn., Nellore and Gudur Jn. Will halt at stations.
