Arvind Kejriwal said that for those above the age of 18, we need 30 million vaccines according to two doses, but we have got 40 lakhs. 2 crores 60 lakhs is required. 80-85 lakhs per month is required. If this happens, we will vaccinate the whole of Delhi in three months. We have to apply three lakh vaccines every day.
There may be an announcement to increase the lockdown. In addition, there may be announcements regarding a number of decisions regarding coronavirus infection. Earlier on Thursday, Arvind Kejriwal held a high-level meeting regarding Corona at his residence. In this, the CM instructed the officials that the oxygen situation in Delhi was coming under control, so now there should not be a single death due to lack of oxygen. All the bottlenecks in oxygen delivery should be removed and save as much oxygen as possible. CM gave strict instructions to make oximeter available to all the patients living in home isolation. The CM said that the target of applying vaccine in three months to all Delhi residents above the age of 18 years should be met. Inspect all DC daily surprise tests of vaccination centers and hunger relief centers. If we applied the vaccine to everyone, We will prevent the third wave of Corona from coming to Delhi. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Health Minister Satyendar Jain, Health Department officials and DMs of all districts were present in the meeting. In the meeting, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has expressed great displeasure over the fact that all the patients of home isolation were still not being provided with oximeters at their home. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that it should be ensured that all patients living in home isolation are given oximeters at their homes.
He has said that now that oxygen has come, then there should be no shortage of oxygen in Delhi. All the hospitals in Delhi should increase their beds and each district collector should arrange new oxygen beds in their respective areas. Also, every DM has to ensure that no one should die due to a lack of oxygen in Delhi. Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal said that now that Delhi is getting a sufficient amount of oxygen, now wherever its distribution is disrupted inside Delhi, they will have to be corrected so that any obstruction in the supply of oxygen Does not come.
He said that oxygen is very important, so it should also be used with great efficiency. Oxygen should not be wasted in any way. We have to try to stop the waste of oxygen and save oxygen as much as we can. If we can save oxygen like a responsible government, then we save oxygen and return it to the central government, so that they can use it at some other needy place.
