The entire lockdown in Uttar Pradesh is yet to be decided by the government, but steps are slowly being taken to break the Corona transition chain. Uttar Pradesh's Yogi Adityanath has extended the lockdown for a week after not taking any threat, given the fast-spreading infection in the villages after the panchayat elections and the festival of Eid on 14 May. It started with the weekly captivity of Saturday-Sunday, then it was extended till May 4, May 6 and then May 10, that is, Monday. Now the Yogi government has again extended the Corona curfew till 17 am on May 17.
In a review meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath decided to pursue the lockdown. The corona curfew has been extended once again till May 17 at seven in the morning to break the chain of corona infection. During this time all restrictions will remain in force as before. Essential services will continue to be exempted. Strict action will be taken against those who roam unnecessarily. CM Yogi Adityanath has said that the purpose of the corona curfew will be successful only if the protocol is strictly implemented. Giving information on Sunday, UP's Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal said that the partial corona curfew has been extended till May 17.
