Bhagirathi Yogre (39), a resident of Raigad and principal of Bastanar Higher Secondary School, originally a resident of a rented house in Gram Panchayat Kilepal No. 3 of Bastanar block of Bastar district in Chhattisgarh, died of the corona in the hospital on Saturday night. At the same time, his wife Santoshi Yogre (35) died in the house. She was also infected. This led to the shadow of parents from the heads of both their innocent children on Mother's Day.
Dr. Devapratap, a physician at the community health center, Killepal, said that on Monday, Bhagirathi had a corona examination. The symptoms were not high, so they were placed in home isolation. On May 7, her and Santoshi's RTPCR investigation came back positive.
Bhagirathi was referred to Dimarapal Medical College (Macaaz) on May 7 after suffering from breathing problems. At 10 pm on Saturday night, they were found dead in the bathroom of the Kovid Center. On Sunday morning, both the children of Bhagirathi, Pallavi (five years) and Umesh (two years), at the fortress number three, told neighbors that their mother was not getting up. Santoshi had also died when the neighbor went and saw him.
In-charge SDM Kaushal Tendulkar said that all the corona investigations are being done after the entire area has been declared as a contention zone.
