Four children playing in it were burnt alive due to a fire in a truck's cabin in a village in Alwar district in Rajasthan. SHO of Ramgarh, Ramnivas Meena said that the accident took place in Chauma village in the district on Saturday. Initial investigation revealed the short circuit causing the accident. He said that three children died on Saturday night, while one died on Sunday during treatment. The bodies of Aman (eight), Shah Rukh (eight), Ajji (five), and Faizan (six) have been handed over to their kith and kin. He said that the relatives have not made any complaint to the police in this matter. However, he did request not to do the post mortem.
It may be noted that earlier in the Rishabhdev area of Udaipur district, the Udaipur-Ahmedabad highway caught fire after two trucks collided in the last few days. In the accident, the driver and operator of one truck were burnt alive, while the driver and operator of the other were badly burned, whose condition is critical. The deceased driver and operator have not been identified in the accident. His dead bodies have been placed in the fronts of Rishabhdev's Community Health Center for postmortem. Two trucks collided directly near the Balaji Hotel in the Rishabhdev area on the Udaipur Ahmedabad High Way. The accident was so severe that half of a truck was badly damaged and was engulfed in flames within seconds. The driver and operator of the truck were engulfed in flames and burnt alive in it. While the drivers of the other truck somehow jumped their lives saving their lives. People rescued him, but his bad scorching could not even identify him.
Here, on receiving the information, Rishabhdev police station reached the spot and rushed the injured driver and operators immediately to Rishabhdev Hospital. Where after primary treatment he was referred to MB Hospital in Udaipur. His condition in Udaipur remains critical. On the other hand, by informing the police fire brigade, the fire in the trucks at the scene was controlled. Meanwhile, the Udaipur and Ahmedabad highways were jammed for about an hour. The bodies of the burnt alive driver and operator are kept in the fronts of Rishabhdev's hospital. He has not been identified yet.
