Since the results of the Bengal assembly elections, the central government has been receiving complaints about the continuous attack on BJP leaders, activists, and supporters. In all cases, the charges of assault are being leveled against the ruling Trinamool Congress workers and supporters in the state.
Recently, the Union Minister's convoy was also attacked. In view of this attack, the Union Home Ministry has decided to provide security to all the newly-elected MLAs of the state. Let us tell that in the wake of the post-election violence, the team of the Union Home Ministry is in Bengal, which is visiting different areas.
BJP leaders and workers are being targeted in Bengal
Please tell that today, Suvendu Adhikari, who defeated CM Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram, has been elected as the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. Meanwhile, the Union Home Ministry took a major decision for BJP MLAs in Bengal. In view of the post-election violence in the state, it has been decided to provide central security to every MLA.
There were attacks on BJP candidates during the election as well, after which almost all the candidates were given protection. Let it be said that almost all BJP MPs also have central security. It may be noted that a directive has been issued last week prohibiting the entry of central forces into the Bengal Assembly complex.
