Despite the lakhs of claims made by the administration, the business of poisonous liquor has not stopped in Uttar Pradesh. During the three-tier panchayat elections, she did not warn despite incidents from several districts. Due to this inaction, there is chaos in Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, and Badayun. While 16 people died in Ambedkar Nagar, six people died in Azamgarh. Two youths also died in Badaun. The process of deaths that started on Monday evening did not stop on Tuesday. Even now many people are struggling with death. The Excise Department has taken the Ambedkar Nagar incident seriously. Four people including the Excise Inspector are being investigated in this case by suspending them.
In Azamgarh too, six people died within 48 hours after consuming poisonous liquor. The dead include Rajesh Soni (Mittupur), Lalta (Saudama), Munna and Pintu (Rajepur), Rinku Nishad (Balaipur) and Tribhuvan (Chakia Village), while Ramsher in Mittupur village and Ravi Private Hospital in Usraha village (Ambedkar Nagar) Are admitted to Ravi has confirmed that they had drunk liquor ranging from liquor contractor Moti a day earlier.
Neighbors Amit Chauhan, Mahesh Chauhan, Jaisraj Chauhan and Sonu Chaturvedi of adjacent village Shivpal were drunk while sitting together at the house of retired information officer Ram Subhash Chauhan of Makhdoompur village of Jaitpur police station (Ambedkar Nagar). On the other hand, from the house of Makhanchu Maurya of Bairagal village of Malipur police station, Akbarpur went to the village of Budhanpur in Kotwali on Sunday. Barat returned on Monday morning. A little later, Ram Ashish Maurya, a relative of Makhanchu, a resident of Akhandnagar police station of Sultanpur district, died here. Nimesh Pal of Bairagal, Ram Ashish of Malipur village and Sudeep Maurya of Rukunpur were also killed in a gap of four hours. All of them had gone to Barat and there is talk of drinking all their liquor. Shailendra Rajbhar of Kulhiapatti village of the same police station and Khanchu Yadav of Karamisirpur also died on Monday in suspicious circumstances. Shyamlal and Mohammed Jhinak of Pethia village of Jalalpur Kotwali died on Monday morning. All of them are being told to drink alcohol.
On the other hand, two youths Haribhanu Singh and Vineet Tomar were killed by drinking illicit liquor in Dahemu village of Badaun. In the morning, the relatives of both of them kept on explaining the cause of death, but later everything became desirable to the police. The police got a victim's family to tell them that the fever had resulted in death. Also talked to the other youth's kith and kin. After this, both the bodies were cremated without post mortem. ST city Praveen Singh Chauhan told that the medical report of both of them has been called. Only something can be said after consulting doctors.
Liquor Contractor Arrested: According to District Magistrate Samuel Pal, some vials of Power House brand liquor have been recovered from a house in Makhdumpur village. In the investigation, the matter of bringing liquor from the contract at Mittupur in Azamgarh district has been revealed. The police team arrested the contractor Motilal on Tuesday morning, while its partners Sanjay and Durgvijay are being searched.
SP said five deaths: Police is trying to limit the number of deaths in different villages due to drinking poisonous liquor. SP Alok Priyadarshi claims that only in the Makhdumpur village of Jaitpur police station, the matter of drinking poisonous liquor was found right in the investigation. A total of five people have died here. At the same time, the villagers say that people died after the wedding ceremony and drinking of liquor brought from the same contract in the village. These people did not even have any disease before. Here, District Magistrate of Azamgarh, Rajesh Kumar and SP Sudhir Kumar Singh have also denied the incident of death by drinking poisonous liquor.
Excise inspector in Ambedkarnagar, including four suspended: Drinking adulterated liquor, the death of three people in village Shivpal and Makhdoompur under Jaitpur police station area of Ambedkarnagar has been taken seriously by the Excise Department. In the said case, four people including the Excise Inspector are being suspended and investigation is being done. Those suspended include Excise Inspector Kaushalendra Pratap, Principal Excise soldier Deep Narayan and constables Sarvesh Kumar and Pradeep Kumar Singh. Additional Excise Commissioner (Administration) Divya Prakash Giri said that the matter is being investigated. If any further conviction is found, strict action will be taken against it.
