In Chhattisgarh, for 22 types of services including driving license, registration certificate (RC) of the vehicle, you will no longer have to visit the Transport Office (RTO). After the completion of the application process, the document will reach the house of the people through speed post in seven days. The applicant will receive a Tracking ID on the mobile with the documents speed posted from the RTO. Through this, it can be seen where the mail has reached. This scheme has been given the documents required to be delivered by your government to the Tunhar government. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel started this on Tuesday.
Chhattisgarh first state in the country to integrate driving license and registration-related services with Aadhaar
Vehicle dealers from different districts of the state also participated in this program organized through video conferencing at the Chief Minister's residence office. He praised this initiative of the Transport Department. This will increase consumer satisfaction, he said.
During the program, Chief Minister Baghel and Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar handed over the driving license and registration certificate to be sent by speed post to the applicants under this facility to Senior Superintendent Post Office Raipur Division BL Jangde and Assistant Superintendent Post Office Raipur JS Pardhi. Transport Minister Mo. Akbar, Bastar MP Deepak Baij, CM's advisor Rajesh Tiwari, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, CM's ACS Subrata Sahu, and Transport Department secretary Dr. Kamalpreet and others were present in the program.
Aadhar will be linked with license and RC
Deputy Commissioner of Transport Dipanshu Kabra said that the driving license and RC book is now being linked to Aadhaar in the state. Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to do so. He said that this will provide the correct address and information of the vehicle owner. This will also help in crime prevention and investigation. Kabra said that with the start of the home access service, the congestion in the transport offices will end. Along with this, the complaints about middlemen will also be less. In the case of a new license, the applicant has to appear for the test only once. There will be no need to come to the office for any other work.
These services will get home access facility
Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar said that in this new facility, 10 licensed and 12 vehicle-related services will be delivered to the house. This includes registration of new vehicles, modification of old vehicles in RCC, new driving license, and other services including driving license and RC after changes made in the old license.

Inaugurating the scheme, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that the government has clear thinking that the easier public convenience will reach the people, the easier their life will be. Things have also changed rapidly with technology in the world in the last five years. The country and the state are no exception to this. Now there is a need to adopt new methods according to the new circumstances. He said that after the beginning of the Corona era, the difficulties that came to the fore are also coming out of the middle of the same difficulties. This effort of the Transport Department is also a similar attempt.
