Chhattisgarh has the strongest government among the Congress-ruled states. In such a situation, Congress is making full use of the leaders of Chhattisgarh to target its opponents. Be it the toolkit issue or the remarks on Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, Congress leaders are getting FIRs against the opponents in Chhattisgarh. More than 100 FIRs were made in the state against Arnab Goswami for his remarks against Sonia. After this, an FIR was lodged against BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh in the toolkit case. Now a complaint has also been lodged against BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia for commenting on Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak.

In the toolkit case, the Chhattisgarh Police was the most talked about in the controversy that arose across the country. BJP leaders also demonstrated in all the districts in protest against the FIR against Sambit Patra and Raman Singh. Former BJP minister Ajay Chandrakar said that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi says that constitutional institutions are being weakened. He tells the truth. They should come and see Chhattisgarh. Here the voice of the opposition is being suppressed by making an FIR.

It is the right of the political party to report the crime of the opposing party. The offense of maligning the image of Congress has been committed in the Toolkit case. It is the moral obligation of the party to get an FIR lodged against it.
- Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, chairman, state Congress media department
The Congress government is getting an FIR against the opposition party by misusing the majority in Chhattisgarh. Directly behind this is the conspiracy of Congress to intimidate the opponents. No matter how many FIRs Congress gets, we will continue to expose its lies.
