Once again the issue of 'Love Jihad' has come to the fore in Kerala. In fact, the central government has refused to take back to India the wives of four IS terrorists who had gone there with their husbands and children to live under Islamic rule in Afghanistan. Sonia Sebastian alias Ayesha, Merin Jacob alias Merin, Nimisha Nair alias Fatima Isa and Rafeela had gone to live in Khorasan province of Islamic Estate between 2016-18. Her husband was killed in various attacks and these women surrendered to the Afghanistan administration in the year 2019.
After these interrogations, many Indian security agencies, including the officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and top officials of intelligence agencies, found that after their conversion, they have been made radical of a very deadly kind. Their coming back to Kerala can be very fatal for the state. Whereas Bindu's mother has no hand in the engagement in this matter.
