Jaguar Land Rover India today announced that after the successful launch of Defender 110, the Defender 90 has gone on sale in India. The Defender 90 is available in three power train options, a 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 221 kW of power and 400 Nm of torque, a 3.0-litre petrol engine producing 294 kW of power and 550 Nm of torque and a 3.0-litre diesel engine, Which provides power of 221 kW and torque of 650 Nm. Thanks to the innovative front central jump seat, the Defender 90 gives customers a practical six-seat space. In this, the technologies of the 21st century have been adopted. Along with Land Rover's PV infotainment system, it also gets an intuitive interface and its own backup battery for always responding. Advance-software-over-the-air updates also ensure that consumers can benefit from the latest software at all times, wherever they are in the world.
The configurable terrain response of the Defender 90 allows the driver to fine-tune the setup of the vehicle to tread on any rough and rough road. This had never happened before. The Terrain Response 2 system also incorporates the new WED program, which re-assures the entire vehicle system to adapt to it while driving in the water.
The New Defender 90 is available in multiple models including Defender, X-Dynamic and Defender X. Apart from this, the Defender and X-Dynamic S, SE and HSE will come with specification packs.
Consumers will be able to customize the Defender to suit their personality in more ways than the Land Rover launched earlier. There are four accessory packs, the Explorer, Adventure, Country and Urban Pack, which give each defender a distinct and special character with a specially selected range of enhancements.
