Amidst the rising prices of petrol, diesel, PNG, and CNG, lakhs of people of Delhi-NCR have got another shock of inflation. After Amul, now Mother Dairy has also increased the prices of milk by Rs 2 per liter in Delhi NCR. The increased milk prices will be applicable from 11th July i.e. Sunday. This increase will be applicable to all types of milk of Mother Dairy. It is worth noting that before this, the last increase in milk prices was about one and a half years ago in December 2019. Let us tell you that this increase is happening at a time when Amul has also increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter a few days back. The company attributed this increase to cost increase.
It is worth noting that Mother Dairy's toned milk in Delhi-NCR is getting Rs 42 per kg so far, but after the implementation of the new rates, it will start getting Rs 44 per kg from Sunday. At the same time, full cream milk which is available at Rs 55 per kg will now get Rs 57 per kg from Sunday 3. With this, a half-kg pack of full cream, which was earlier Rs 28, will cost Rs 29.
At the same time, one kg of double toned milk will be available for Rs 41, which till now is getting Rs 39 per kg. With this, a half kg packet of double toned milk will now be available for Rs 21 instead of 20.
Similarly, one kg of cow's milk was available for Rs 47, which will get Rs 49 a kg from Sunday. With this, consumers will have to pay Rs 25 for a packet of half kg cow's milk available for Rs 24.
