The way BJP MP Babul Supriyo is keeping distance from politics after being removed from the Union Cabinet, speculation has started about his retirement from politics. Babul has been in active politics for the last seven years. After being dropped from the cabinet, he expressed his anguish towards the party leadership. As dramatic as Babylon's debut in politics was, they can also say goodbye to it. Babul is an MP from the Asansol seat of Bengal. To leave politics, he has to resign from the post of MP. Those close to Babylon say that the day he decides to quit politics, it will take him no time to step down as an MP.
According to information received from sources, Babul is not having good relations with Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh these days. He has had arguments with Babylon on many issues. In this regard, a show-cause notice can be sent to him by the Discipline Defense Committee of the party. Babul wants to retire from politics before this happens. On the other hand, Trinamool Congress is also putting its strings on Babylon. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister and Trinamool supremo Mamta Banerjee had questioned the removal of Babul Supriyo from the cabinet and said that now even Babul Supriyo has become bad for him. After Mamta's soft attitude towards Babylon, there are speculations about her holding the Trinamool flag. Babylon, however, has remained silent at this time. One of his close friends told that Babul wants to stay away from politics for a few days.
It is worth mentioning that Babul Supriyo had accused Trinamool MP and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee of insulting women in a public speech. Sharing a video clipping of Abhishek Banerjee's speech on Twitter, Babul wrote, 'No one else can have such bad thoughts about women than Bhaipo (nephew). There are many women leaders in your party, are you calling them weak? Brother, have you forgotten that the head of your party is also a woman? It is astonishing to think that people who brag in the name of culture have no culture of their own. In a meeting, Abhishek had allegedly told the women leaders and workers of the party that only talking big things will not work, Trinamool Congress needs strength to do it. If you don't have guts then go inside the house, wear saree and bangles.
