Not a single case of Delta Plus in Tripura
A statement was issued by the Government of India that there is not a single case of Delta Plus in Tripura. It was told, 'There was news of increase in the cases of Delta Plus variant in Tripura. Between April and May 2021, 152 samples tested positive and were sent to NIBMG Kalyani for genome sequencing. It didn't have Delta Plus cases. In this, 3 samples were found infected with B.1.1.7, while 11 samples were infected with B.1.617.1 (kappa) and 138 were infected with B.1.617.2 (delta).
In the figures of 24 hours, the ministry said that 39,649 recoveries, 724 people have died. So far, the total number of corona infections in the country has increased to 3,08,74,376, the total recovery figures are 3,00,14,713 and the number of deaths so far is 4,08,764. At the same time, a total of 37,73,52,501 doses have been given so far under the vaccination campaign that started from January 16, out of which 12,35,287 doses were given in 24 hours.
