In the second wave of corona virus in the country, the number of new cases is continuously decreasing. With the situation returning to normal, many states have started giving relief in the corona restrictions imposed in the second wave. Under this, many states including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab have issued new guidelines. Accordingly, restaurants, malls, swimming pools and gyms have been allowed to open with the rules.
Under Unlock-7, the Delhi government issued new guidelines on Sunday. It said that auditoriums and assembly halls in Delhi schools have been allowed to be used for training and meeting purposes. The Delhi government has said in a statement that it is now preparing and planning to reopen schools and other educational institutions. An order issued by the DDMA states that auditoriums and assembly halls of schools and educational institutions can be used for training and meeting with 50 percent seating capacity. During this, the standard operating procedure and other guidelines of the government will have to be strictly followed.
The Uttar Pradesh government, while issuing new guidelines regarding the Corona curfew, has been relaxed for two more hours. Now night curfew will be applicable from 10 pm to 6 am. Weekend lockdown will remain in effect as before. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that even after the exemption, the corona protocol should be followed completely. Strict action should be taken against those who violate the rules. Will ensure arrangements for masks, two yards and sanitizers for shopkeepers and staff at the shops. The same requirement will be applicable to the customers as well.
The Punjab government has removed the Night Curfew and Weekend Curfew, giving great relief to the people. Along with this, permission has been given to open colleges and coaching centers, but schools will remain closed. Apart from this, bars, cinema halls, restaurants, spas, swimming pools, gyms, malls, sports complexes, museums, zoos etc. can be opened.
At the same time, the Haryana government has extended the restrictions from 5 am on 12 July to 5 am on 19 July with some relaxation in the Corona guidelines. A maximum of 100 people has been allowed in gatherings for weddings and funerals. Along with this, the spa will be allowed from 6 am to 8 pm with 50 percent capacity.
To prevent the spread of coronavirus, the Tripura government has imposed a weekend curfew. Addressing a press conference, Revenue Secretary Tanushree Deb Burma said that a weekend curfew will be imposed in Tripura from 12 noon on Saturday to 6 am on Monday with various restrictions.
