DDA's land allotment scam: CBI raids 14 locations in Delhi and Lucknow

New Delhi. Now the CBI has started strict in the scam related to the allotment of land of Delhi Development Authority. In the case, the Central Investigation Agency on Tuesday raided 14 locations in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. During this, a case was also registered against other people including three DDA employees. According to CBI sources, the action was initiated at 7 am on Tuesday. During this raids were conducted at Sarita Vihar in Delhi and some other locations including Lucknow and Shamli.
Along with this, the CBI has registered a case against former DDA assistant, Sudhanshu Ranjan, former senior secretary assistant, Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj and former security guard Darwan Singh under corruption related sections. A case has also been registered against Iqbal Hussain, Sunil Kumar Meena, Sapan Kumar, Jamaluddin, Rajwant Singh and Shakuntala Devi.

According to the CBI official, he had received a complaint that DDA has land in Madanpur Khadar located in Sarita Vihar area of Delhi. Some private people with the help of DDA officials are selling this land by making fake documents and allotting land in a wrong way. Due to this scam of crores is being done. Along with this, these people are also mentioning it wrongly in government documents.
Important clues found in the raid
According to CBI officials, during the raids at 14 locations, many important documents, property and bank account details have been found from the accused. These will now be explored in detail. The CBI team has also seized several mobile phones, laptops and desktops during the raid, which the CBI will send to its lab and search its data. Soon arrest of many accused on this issue is also possible.
