The Uttar Pradesh government has made a large number of transfers in many departments. In the current session, being the last day for the transfer of state government personnel, a large number of transfers took place in various departments on Thursday. The transfers were put on hold in the last session due to the Corona disaster. The opportunity for transfers has come at an interval of two years. Therefore, bumper transfers took place in the departments before the end of the deadline set by the government for transfer in this session.
The transfer files moved swiftly after the ministers, who attended the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected district panchayat presidents, returned to the capital on July 12. There were also a lot of transfers in the finance department. On the last day, 42 officers of Finance and Accounts Service Group 'A' were transferred and 13 others were given additional charges. Three deputy directors of the Local Fund Audit Service and two district audit officers were also transferred.
34 Chief Engineers of Level-1 and 2 and 61 Superintending Engineers were transferred in Public Works Department. In the health department, 51 medical officers were transferred out of which seven are CMOs. Apart from these, about 250 health workers were also shifted from here to there. There were transfers of Mines Officers and Joint Directors in the Geology and Mining Department. Officers and employees were also transferred in the departments of urban development, secondary and higher education, irrigation, transport, agriculture, rural development, housing, etc.
