Comedian Bharti Singh, who is considered to be the laughter queen of the TV world, is a well-known personality in the industry today. Love, money, fame, respect.... Bharti has everything that every human being imagines. But Bharti has worked very hard to achieve this position. Obviously, moving out of a small city like Amritsar and making a place in the city of Mumbai would not have been an easy task.
Recently, in an interview with Maniesh Paul, Bharti talked about the many ups and downs of her life. During this, the actress made many revelations about how people used to touch her inappropriately on the set and she did not understand earlier. Sharing one such anecdote, Bharti told that when she went to audition for a famous laughter show, she thought that the director would exploit her.
Bharti told in the interview, 'I still remember Kapil Sharma's brother's call, he told me that auditions are going on in a 5-star hotel in Amritsar, I should go and give auditions. Now auditions in hotels in a small town like Amritsar mean that people think the director is calling for teasing. I went to audition with my three or four friends and took them by phone and went that if I do not come down in 15 minutes, then you should call the police before my respect is robbed'.
'When I went to the hotel room, the director was sitting in a short and vest. I thought it was ready. That is, they tell right in the movies. These people do the same and bluff small-town girls. When the director asked me what I could do, I fearfully told that I know comedy. Whatever comedy I used to come, I showed it by doing everything. He said leave your number, then no call came for two-three months. Then one day a call came and they told that I have been selected in the audition of Laughter Challenge and sent me the ticket and thus I came to Mumbai'.
