Talking about the exterior, its design mimics bigger SUVs like the Harrier and Safari from Tata's lineup with a split lighting setup.However, it gets butch front bumper with headlamps, sleek LED DRLs, stance black body claddings and prominent wheel arches with rear skid plates.At the rear, it gets connected wraparound LED taillights that are seen on the HBX concept.Other styling highlights include a roof-mounted spoiler, roof rails, blacked-out pillars and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators.
Key features inside the cabin include a 7.0-inch free-standing infotainment screen, a semi-digital instrument console, 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with audio and voice controls, push-button start/stop and automatic climate control. Huh.Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.
The Tata Punch will be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.Which gives power output of 85 bhp and peak torque of 113 Nm.This unit will be mated to a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.At the same time, the company can also use 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol in it.However, it will be confirmed only at the time of launch.
