The cases of corona infection are increasing continuously in the country.Active cases have crossed four lakh.There has been an increase of 5,903 in active cases during the last 24 hours.During this, a total of 42,618 new cases have been found across the country, out of which 29,322 cases are from Kerala alone.During this, 330 more people have also lost their lives.This also includes 131 deaths in Kerala.It seems that the risk of the third wave of corona in the country has increased.89.03 percent of new cases of corona have been reported from five states in the country, with Kerala having the highest number of 69.08 percent cases.
According to the data updated by the Union Health Ministry in the morning, active cases have gone up to 4,05,681 and the total number of cases has reached close to 3.30 crore.So far 4.40 lakh people have also lost their lives.The daily and weekly infection rate has also crossed two percent.Whereas, the recovery rate of patients has come down to below 97 percent.
A total of 67.72 crore doses have been administered across the country so far.
According to the provisional report released by the ministry, till 7 pm on Saturday, a total of 67.72 crore doses of corona vaccine had been administered across the country.About 59 lakh doses were administered during the last 24 hours.So far, more than one crore health workers have been given the first dose and 84.49 lakh have been given the second dose.
