At the Tokyo Paralympics 2020, Gautam Budh Nagar District Magistrate Suhas L. Yetiraj has created history by doing wonders.Suhas L. Yetiraj has won the silver medal in the ongoing Paralympic Games in Tokyo.This is India's 18th medal in these games.Indian para-badminton player Suhas L. Yetiraj has been satisfied with a silver medal in the men's singles SL4 badminton competition at the Tokyo Paralympics.
Suhas L. Yetiraj faced France's Lucas Mazur in the Badminton Men's Singles SL4 final at the Tokyo Paralympics.In the final match, Suhas won the first round, but lost in the next two rounds and missed out on the gold medal.Suhas L. Yetiraj, who won the first game 21-15, lost the second game 17-21, while in the third game also he lost 15-21.
Thus losing 2-1, they missed out on the gold medal but played their part in getting the silver medal for the country.This is India's 18th medal in these games.Talking about the Tokyo Paralympic Games, this is India's 8th silver medal.Earlier, India has won 4 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals and 6 Bronze Medals.The hope of some more medals continues from the Indian players, but now there is not much time left for the conclusion of these games.

Coming from Karnataka, Suhas became an IAS from Uttar Pradesh cadre in 2007 and is currently posted as District Magistrate in Noida (Gautam Budh Nagar).Suhas L. Yetiraj is the world number two player among para players.38-year-old Suhas had earlier won a bronze medal at the Jakarta Asian Para Games.He has also been the District Magistrate of Prayagraj.What a good performance he has done as a player.He has done much better performance as a DM.
