Shimla. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday that 1.25 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines are being given daily in India and this number is more than the population of many countries. For this, he also praised all the workers involved in the vaccination campaign. The Prime Minister, in his address after interacting with the health workers of Himachal Pradesh and the beneficiaries of Kovid-19 vaccination through video conference, appreciated the efficiency and public- Told the result of public awareness and said that due to this, this hill state has emerged as a 'champion' in the fight against the Kovid-19 epidemic, the biggest in 100 years.
It is to be known that Himachal Pradesh is the first state in the country where till now the first dose of anti-covid vaccine has been administered to all the eligible people. Addressing the event organized on this occasion, the Prime Minister said that India has so far administered 70 crore doses of vaccines. He once again called for following the mantra of 'Dawai Bhi, Kadai Bhi'.
Describing the success of vaccination in the country as a result of the spirit and hard work of the citizens, he said, “India is immunizing at a record pace of 1.25 crore vaccines per day. This means that the number of vaccinations in a day in India is more than the population of many countries. The success of India's vaccination campaign is the result of the culmination of the hard work and valor of every Indian.
He said that Himachal Pradesh, which once struggled for small facilities, is writing a new story of development today. He said, 'All this was possible due to the blessings of the deities, the skill of the Himachal government, and the awareness of the people of Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh has achieved this feat by working as a team. Himachal Pradesh has emerged as a champion in the fight against the biggest epidemic of 100 years.
The Prime Minister said that Himachal Pradesh has not only given the first dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine to its entire eligible population, but in the case of the second dose also, it has vaccinated almost one-third of the population. He said that this success of the people of Himachal Pradesh has also boosted the confidence of the country and reminded them how important it is to be self-reliant.
The Prime Minister said that the people of Himachal Pradesh have rejected all kinds of rumors and became a witness to how the country's rural society is carrying forward the world's largest vaccination campaign and the fastest vaccination campaign. He expressed happiness that even in a remote district like Lahaul-Spiti, Himachal has been a leader in giving 100 percent first dose. He said that this is the area that was cut off from the rest of the country for months before the Atal Tunnel was built.
The Prime Minister said that tourism is getting the direct benefit of the strengthening connectivity, as well as the farmers-horticulturists producing fruits and vegetables, are also getting its benefits. He said that by using internet connectivity in villages, young talents of Himachal can take their culture and new possibilities of tourism to the country and abroad.
