Assam: Flood situation improving
The flood situation in Assam is improving steadily and the number of people affected has halved in the last 24 hours.The Assam State Disaster Management Authority said the number of people affected by the floods in 11 districts of the state is now around 20,000, while the death toll remains at eight.

Two children die due to drowning in Maharashtra
